Why must lesson plans be revised to include disabled students? Discuss whether or not you agree.

It does not matter whether you agree or disagree on revising your lesson plan to include children with disabilities; it is a mandate to insure that all children have an adequate education. Teachers modify their lesson plans to insure that all students are included in achieving the goals set up for them in and out of the classroom. The video showed a variety of assistive technology for students with disabilities. In the video, the children with disabilities in the primary grade level were exposed at an early age to assistive technology. Through observations and finding the right assistive device, the children with disabilities were able to communicate their wants and needs. Integrating assistive technology into the lesson plan will produce a positive learning environment for all students.
